Gala dinner High Artistry Montblanc

TASK
Organizing a gala dinner and presentation of the High Artistry collection of fine writing instruments by Montblanc.

IDEA
Guests of the event experienced the Montblanc High Artistry collection through a creative reinterpretation of a handwritten text. A Montblanc calligrapher stylized the initials and names of guests on paper, while an expert graphologist revealed the secrets of their handwriting.

In the exhibition area, guests were able to take a closer look at the writing instruments from the High Artistry collection. The decorative elements of each piece refer to historical and cultural monuments and events: the Great Wall of China; England at the end of the 19th century and the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle; the magnificent coronation of Napoleon Bonaparte; Luciano Pavarotti and aria Nessun dorma; and skilled Chiso craftsmen working at the Japanese imperial court since 1555.

These five themes were continued during the dinner: five dishes from Turandot's chef Dmitry Yeremeev became metaphors for the five countries. Each course was accompanied by a legendary aria from a famous opera performed by soloists of the Bolshoi Theater.

An important highlight of the event was the partnership with The Macallan: batches of this whisky are also a collector's item and are prized above others at major auctions.
