Presentation of an art installation and gala dinner The Makers by The Balvenie

TASK
Developing an art project The Makers by The Balvenie dedicated to the process of creating The Balvenie single malt whisky and organizing a gala dinner for the socialites.

IDEA
The exhibition concept was based on five important stages of producing the single malt whisky. The Balvenie is the only distillery in Scotland that develops five traditional crafts with techniques that have not changed over many decades. Therefore, each art piece referred to an essential stage in the work of a cooper, coppersmith, malting master, master blender and other participants in the process of making a drink who have perfected their craft. Moving from chapter to chapter in the art installation, guests were led through the stages of whisky production, from barley fields to the finished product.

Artists, designers, actors, architects and other members of creative industries were invited to judge the art of whisky making.

After learning about how The Balvenie is born, guests proceeded to a dinner prepared by Chef Georgy Troyan. A four-course dinner was accompanied by whiskies of various age statements.
