SAMSUNG CELEBRATES ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY IN RUSSIA

PR / CONCEPT / EVENT PRODUCTION /
CELEBRITY & GUEST MANAGEMENT
TASK
Organizing a large-scale celebration of the 30th anniversary of Samsung Electronics in Russia and presenting its high-tech innovations to the public.

IDEA
A grand party was appropriate for demonstrating the progressiveness of the brand and celebrating such an important event in the history of Samsung in Russia.

The venue was divided into several interactive zones with art installations that immersed guests in the technological world of the brand that has been actively evolving over the past 30 years. In keeping with this concept, breakthrough innovations such as vertical TVs for viewing mobile content and a modular refrigerator with color panels were set against a retrospective of Samsung's signature devices and appliances.

Guests gravitated towards the photo area with old models of the brand's TVs and the pop-up museum with flip phones frozen in ice. Guests enjoyed taking photos amid the ice cubes containing nostalgic past-gen Samsung phones.

As Samsung supports the crypto art trend, the agency organized a gallery of NFT paintings by young and progressive artists, including Meta Rite, the author of the Russian meta futurism style; Synticate, an art group promoting the idea of an eco-friendly future and the coexistence of technology and nature; and Kirill Rave who works both in digital and physical spaces. FineArt Gallery presented the successful artist Dmitriy Shorin, now also exhibiting in NFT, with the support of ArtVisioner project.

DJ Taras 3000 (Dmitry Ustinov) from Moscow continued the theme of the connection between decades in a special musical performance Through Time. The event concluded with a cosmic rave concert by electronic musician Mujuice (Roman Litvinov), gathering all the guests on the dance floor.

The party served designer cocktails and authentic Korean street food. As a result of the PR campaign, the agency initiated publications in leading lifestyle media and social media with a total reach of 90 million contacts.
